Why they buy it.

For UAE auto parts traders and workshops whose orders arrive as a photo of the old part, whose cross-references live in one person's head and whose credit is tracked in a notebook, the Auto parts app is a branded parts and workshop system that finds the right part across brands in seconds and puts an order on hold when a customer is over its limit. Unlike Excel price lists, paper job cards and a credit notebook, it runs the counter, the B2B orders, the workshop and insurance repairs in one place, and bills the insurer and the car owner correctly from one job.

The job, the pain, the gain.

What the people who run these businesses are trying to get done, what goes wrong today, and what changes.

The job

  • Find the right part for the car, fast, and quote the right price.
  • Sell to workshops and fleets on credit, and get paid.
  • Get cars through the workshop and back to their owners on time.
  • Close insurance repairs and collect from the insurer.

The pain

  • Orders arrive as a photo of the old part, and only one person knows the cross-reference and the price.
  • Credit is given without limits. Overdue workshops keep ordering, and cheques are tracked in a notebook.
  • Insurance repairs stall between the surveyor, the approval and the excess, and insurer payments are chased from memory.

The gain

  • The right part in seconds
Search by part number, by cross-reference across brands and grades, or by make, model and year. Stock per branch and your own price tiers.
  • Credit that stops orders
Credit limits per customer and group. Orders over the limit or with overdue invoices go on hold until someone else releases them, and cheques are registered.
  • Insurance jobs that close
Claim, estimate, insurer approval per line, supplementaries, an invoice to the insurer and one to the customer for the excess, and a weekly statement of open claims to each insurer.

What makes it different.

Against Excel price lists, paper job cards and a credit notebook, and against a generic suite with a module bolted on.

Built on your own parts data

Part numbers, cross-references between brands and grades, fitment by make, model and year, and price lists are imported from your Excel files, so the counter searches what you already know.

Split billing for insurance repairs

Each claim records the insurer's approval per line and its supplementaries, then bills the insurer for the approved amount and the owner for the excess from the same job.

Counter, B2B and workshop together

Counter sales, portal orders, deliveries with collected cheques, workshop job cards, fleet contracts and warranty claims share one catalogue, one stock and one credit limit per customer.

A day with it.

08:00, the branch manager's morning. As our demo tells it; the company and its data are fictional.

  1. The dashboard shows four workshops over their credit limit, a reorder list ready and an insurance repair waiting for the surveyor's approval.

  2. A mechanic brings an old part. The counter finds it by cross-reference or by make, model and year, sees stock in each branch, and sells it with a VAT receipt.

  3. A workshop orders in the portal. The driver delivers with a photo and signature and records a post-dated cheque.

  4. The service advisor checks a car in with photos and mileage, sends the estimate for approval by link, and issues parts from stock to the job card.

  5. An insurance repair closes with one invoice to the insurer for the approved amount and one to the owner for the excess. The owner's dashboard shows margin by category and the stock that does not move.

Inside the app.

Who it is for.

Auto parts traders in Deira, Sharjah Industrial Area, Al Quoz and Ras Al Khor that sell to workshops, fleets and walk-ins, often with a workshop of their own. Also independent workshops that service fleets under contract or repair cars for insurers.

Not for:

  • Traders who need licensed parts data or VIN decoding from day one.
  • Agency dealerships already running a manufacturer's dealer system.
  • One-person shops with a few hundred parts, who are better served by a basic POS.

Also included.

  • A B2B portal where workshops order and see their statement
  • Deliveries with proof and collected cheques
  • Counter sales with VAT receipts and returns
  • Reorder suggestions
  • Purchase orders in foreign currency, with landed cost
  • Workshop bookings and job cards, with estimates approved by link
  • Fleet contracts with consolidated monthly invoices
  • Zero-rated export invoices, with exit evidence tracked

What people ask.

  1. Our parts data is in Excel and in our heads.

That is the starting point. Part numbers, cross-references, fitment and price lists are imported from your Excel files. Licensed parts data and VIN decoding are on the roadmap, under a licence you hold.

  2. We use Tally.

Keep it for the books. We cover the catalogue, sales, credit, workshop and insurance work, and give your accountant a VAT summary. Accounting export is on the roadmap.

  3. Insurers each have their own portal.

Yes. Estimates go to the insurer as a PDF by email, approvals are attached to the claim, and each insurer gets a weekly statement of open claims. An insurer portal is on the roadmap.

  4. We can't chase every cheque and limit.

Credit limits per customer and group, an automatic hold, release by a second person, post-dated cheques registered, and receivables with statements and reminders.
