The job
- Get each parcel to the door on the first attempt
- Collect COD cash and pay each client what is owed, on time
- Bill each client for the month's deliveries without a week in Excel
- Keep every vehicle licensed, insured and serviced
Every parcel and every dirham of COD, accounted for. Bookings, runs, proof of delivery, cash on delivery and billing for UAE couriers and freight companies, in one system with your brand, hosted in the UAE.
For UAE couriers and freight companies with 20 to 200 vehicles who lose track of COD cash and spend days pricing deliveries by hand, the Logistics app is a branded operations system that traces each delivery and each dirham of COD from the door to the client's remittance, and builds each client's invoice from the rate card. Unlike printed run sheets, a cash notebook and Excel billing, it has every driver's cash counted by a second person at the end of the day, flags shortages at once, and has remittances prepared and approved by two people.
What the people who run these businesses are trying to get done, what goes wrong today, and what changes.
Against Printed run sheets, phone calls to drivers and a COD cash notebook, and against a generic suite with a module bolted on.
Each driver's COD is counted at the end of the day by a cashier, shortages go for approval, and a remittance is prepared by one user and approved by another before payment.
Rate cards per client price every delivery by zone and weight, trip, hour or pallet, then add COD fees and surcharges, with standard and zero-rated VAT per line.
Freight jobs keep documents, customs references, disbursements and job costing next to the delivery runs, and Salik, Darb and fines are allocated to the driver, vehicle or job.
08:00, the operations manager logs in. As our demo tells it; the company and its data are fictional.
The day starts with what needs action: shipments awaiting reattempt, drivers with cash shortages at yesterday's handover, an overdue COD remittance, registrations expiring and a van past its service kilometres.
An online shop uploads 50 shipments by CSV in its portal and prints the labels.
The dispatcher builds runs by area and assigns drivers and vans; each driver's phone shows the day's stops.
At the door the driver records delivery with photo, signature and location, and it shows in the client portal at once. A failed attempt gets a reason, a reattempt and an SMS to the recipient with the tracking link.
At the end of the day a cashier counts each driver's COD and a shortage is flagged for approval. At close, the client's invoice for the period comes from the rate card.

Last-mile couriers delivering for online shops, B2B trucking companies working inside the UAE, and freight forwarders that also collect and deliver. Companies with 20 to 200 vehicles and their own drivers.
Not for:
Can we see our vans live on a map?
Not today. Location is captured at every scan and delivery, and clients see the shipment's place in the run. Live tracking from telematics devices is on the roadmap.
Our clients want to send orders from their online store.
Today clients book in the portal or upload a CSV. A client API and store plugins are on the roadmap. If that is a must on day one, we are probably not for you yet.
Our drivers use their own phones.
That works. The driver app runs in the browser on any phone. Location is taken only at scans and deliveries, and the recipient's details disappear after the stop.
We already use Tally, Zoho or QuickBooks.
Keep it for the books. We cover shipments, COD, fleet and invoicing, and give your accountant a VAT summary. Accounting export is on the roadmap.
